RYCOR Grows with its Customers

The story of how RYCOR came to be has to start back to the turn of this century. Ryan Kerr, a 97-lb Grade 9 student at Argyle Secondary School in North Vancouver, had a problem: he didn’t like going to school. But he has a strong passion for Computer Science and he was dearly loved by his teachers. With the help of his mentor, he managed to attend classes and even submit a computer science project, that will change his life forever.

That computer science project was a software program created to help Argyle Secondary School staff collect fees and donations. The software was so helpful that two neighboring schools bought the program and the rest was history.

The New Standard of K-12 Administration Software

Today, RYCOR is a leading SaaS provider for school districts across North America. Still led by founder Ryan Kerr, RYCOR has clients in 22 states and provinces across North America, serving thousands of schools and manage hundreds of millions dollars in school fees. RYCOR provides convenience, efficiency, and ease by providing solutions for collecting and managing school fees, as well as parent-school communication through its Advanced Forms component.

Based in Vancouver, Canada, the company is growing at 30% per year, with a customer retention rate of 99% year over year. RYCOR currently employ 25 people across North America – and the team is growing to accommodate the growing list of clients.

RYCOR is aggressively pursuing a goal to be the dominant school administration software platform across North America by 2020. Building on a foundation of robust software solutions that respond to customer needs, that vision is rapidly becoming reality.
